Technical Outline of the Session and Topics
Longrange RFID (UHF) becomes more interesting, because it provides longer distances between tag and reader. Despite of low energy, lower cycle rates, high transmission noise, etc. security and reliability have to be supported. This workshop focuses on research of lightweight cryptography, channel coding and other measures to enable secure longrange RFID communication.
Topics, but not limited to:
- Lightweight Cryptographic algorithms (digital signatures, authentication) for integration in UHF RFID tags
- Energy situation of UHF RFID communication
- Physically Unclonable Functions (PUF) and random number generation
- Coding and Decoding techniques of RFID communication
Submission procedure for special session papers is the same as for regular papers.
